62 Infantry Battalion Unit Flash
|
The 62 Infantry battalion
was formed on the 1st of October 2005 from the former 20 & 21 Infantry Battalion's.
The unit flashes of the old battalions were discarded and a new flash was introduced.
The new flash is based around a standard design which has been adopted by all
Army Reserve units. The top half with the red spear on a yellow backround represents
the symbol of the 2 Eastern Brigade. The bottom part contains the corps symbol
(the crossed rifles) and the unit number (62) on a background which is the colour
of the infantry.
