62 Infantry Battalion Unit Flash

The 62 Infantry battalion was formed on the 1st of October 2005 from the former 20 & 21 Infantry Battalion's. The unit flashes of the old battalions were discarded and a new flash was introduced. The new flash is based around a standard design which has been adopted by all Army Reserve units. The top half with the red spear on a yellow backround represents the symbol of the 2 Eastern Brigade. The bottom part contains the corps symbol (the crossed rifles) and the unit number (62) on a background which is the colour of the infantry.
